How it works

  1. Your server sends POST https://oms-api.mainconsulting.co.uk/api/public/v1/search with the visitor's question and your secret API key.
  2. OMS interprets the question (topic, location, dates, budget, online or in person) and searches the live OMS catalogue.
  3. You receive structured JSON: an answer, courses with their upcoming events, and supporting content.

Where the data comes from

  • Courses, dates, prices, locations, booking status and booking links come from OMS's booking system (Arlo), refreshed daily. They are passed through exactly; the AI never writes them.
  • Articles and case studies come from the OMS website. They are supporting reading, never a source of course facts.
  • The answer and per-course reason text are AI-written and checked automatically: they cannot introduce prices, place counts or accreditation guarantees that aren't in the data.

  • One endpoint: POST /search, JSON in and out, UTF-8.
  • Authentication: Authorization: Bearer oms_live_…, server-side only.
  • Typical response time: 4–8 seconds. Show a loading state.
